A Healthy Start To Your Day

Aug 21, 2012

As the summer comes to an end parents ready their children for next school year. Going back to school can be more challenging than some parents remember, that is why it is important that they support their children, especially with their diet of a healthy breakfast in the morning. Making sure that they get a nutritional meal every morning can ensure that your child is a more productive and focused student.

As the beginning of school nears it is important for parents to take a role in their children’s preparation for school. One of the keys for a healthy start to your child’s day is a healthy breakfast. Kidspot.com quotes Dr John Irvine, leading Child Psychologist, who says “parents should not underestimate the benefits of a good breakfast in helping kids perform to their best at school”. Studies show that students that start their day off with a healthy breakfast show more attentiveness in the classroom, plus research has found that breakfast is associated with a more positive mood. Here at the pantry we believe a healthy breakfast can go a long way, for instance it can help students brains and bodies cope with the stress that comes with school.
